We do this through educating you on the options you have available and the pros and cons of those decisions.

Investment Management

We manage a number of unique portfolios with very different objectives. Determining which one is appropriate for you takes a deep understanding of what each is designed to do and the environment we are operating in currently. Sharing this with our clients gives them a better understanding of what to expect from each investment style.

Ken brings a competitive edge to the financial world, leveraging his background as a college All-American swimmer and an inductee into his college's Athletic Hall of Fame. With over three decades of financial experience, Ken combines his drive for success with a personalized approach to help clients work towards achieving their financial goals.

Ken's advisory career started almost 30 years ago, working with high-net-worth clients at some of the oldest Wall St. brokerage firms. However, his unwavering commitment to providing independent and objective guidance led him to become an independent advisor affiliated with Private Advisor Group.

In addition to his financial acumen, Ken's competitive nature shines through in his personal life. As a college All-American swimmer, he understands the dedication and discipline required to excel in both sports and finance. This competitive spirit fuels his passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of their financial journeys.

Ken's expertise is backed by his industries credentials, holding an AIF® and AWMA® from The College for Financial Planning. The AWMA® designation, a graduate-level program, equips him with the knowledge to address the intricate financial challenges faced by affluent clients.

When he's not assisting clients in pursuing financial success, Ken enjoys embraces the great outdoors and is an avid snowboarder, finding exhilaration in conquering the slopes. Additionally, his love for sports extends to golf, where he relishes the challenge and strategic thinking the game demands.

Femi Ford
Client Relationship Manager

Femi’s primary roles at the firm include scheduling appointments, coordination of client appreciation and public education events, assisting with new client transitions, and helping clients with general account-related questions. 

Prior to joining K-12 Financial Advisors, she worked at Veritas Group, Ltd. and MetaFoundry as a web and print Production Manager for a variety of clients such as Mercedes Benz, Toshiba Consumer America Products, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Vail Film Festival, Excedrin, and Dan Zanes.

Femi is a native of Warwick, NY having grown up in Bellvale. When she’s not busy with K-12 Financial Advisors, she can be found doing freelance work, volunteering in the school and community, gardening, creating art, and raising her two beautiful children, Ellie and Leo.
